Analisis Pengelolaan Bantuan Dana Pendidikan Bagi Mustahik Di Baitul Mal Kota Langsa

Abstract

This research aims to determine the management of Education funds in Baitul Mal Langsa City and the obstacles in managing the management of Education funds in Baitul Mal Langsa City. The method used is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The informants in this research were Amil Baitul Mal Langsa City Assistant Staff and mustahiq who were beneficiaries of education funds for junior high school (SMP) students. The results of the research show that (1) Management of Education funds in Baitul Mal Langsa City, namely: (a) Planning in the form of holding meetings at the beginning of the year. (b) Organizing, namely the party responsible for planning zakat programs by the Head of Baitul Mal. The party responsible for ratifying the planning of zakat programs is the supervisory board and the party responsible for implementing program realization is the baitul mal secretariat. (c) Implementation, namely where the distribution of zakat on education funds will be carried out every October. (d) Direction, namely by the Head of the Secretariat to the implementing members. (e) Supervision by the Inspectorate Agency, the Financial Audit Agency (BPK) and the Baitul Mal Supervisory Board. (2) The obstacle in managing education funds in Baitul Mal Langsa City lies in the limited funds available as a result of the zakat funds collected from muzakki tending to be small.
